Guwahati: Binnachara Gaon Panchayat Secretary, Abdul Rahman Pradhani, under Gauripur Development Block, Dhubri, has been suspended on Wednesday due to flouting of guidelines and misappropriation of fund under 14th Finance Commission Grant violating the office instruction.
A team of Panchayat and Rural Development officials visited Dhubri district in last week to review the progress of implementation of various rural development schemes.
During their field visit the irregularities of Binnachara Gaon Panchayat came to light.
On the basis of the report submitted by the officials, the Commissioner, Panchayat and Rural development, Hemen Das has taken the measure immediately.
