Imphal, September 24, 2020, 4.29 PM: 5 new minister will be inducted into the BJP Led Manipur Government led by Chief Minister N Biren.
V Hangkhanlian (BJP), Nemcha Kipgen (BJP), Th Radheshyam Singh (BJP), L Jayantakumar Singh (NPP), N Kayisii (NPP) and Karam Shyam (LJP) have been dropped from the council of ministers.
Dropping of lone LJP has become quite a surprise to many political analyst and observers. This is significant development. The swearing ceremony will be held today evening.
Those who are likely to be inducted into council of ministers are :

Okram Henry, Ex-MLA from Wanghei Assembly segment in Imphal East District who recently join BJP after electing from a Congress ticket in 2017 elections. He resigned from Congress ahead of the trust vote

Oinam Lukhoi Singh, Ex-MLA from Wangoi Assembly segment in Imphal West District and elected on a Congress ticket in 2017 general elections. He also switched sides to BJP and also resigned from the MLA ship

Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh, MLA from Lamshang Assembly segment in Imphal West. He was elected on a BJP ticket in 2017. He is a veteran leader and long time associate of BJP. He was Deputy Chairman State Planning Board.

Vunzjagin Valte is another native BJP MLA elected from the Thanlon Assembly seat in Pherzawl District.

Thokchom Satyabrata Singh is another BJP MLA from Yaiskul Assembly segment in Imphal East District.
