GUWAHATI: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sharad Arvind Bobde offered prayers at the famous Kamakhya temple. Chief Justice Bobde was on a two-day visit to the state of Assam.
On Saturday He has addressed an orientation programme on the protection of wildlife being organized by the Judicial Academy, Assam in collaboration with WWF-India at the Assam Administrative Staff College in the city.
He was slated to visit Assam’s Kaziranga National Park also.
After Assam, the CJI was slated to visit Mizoram where he will be staying for two days. The CJI will wrap-up his northeast tour after visiting Tripura on December 23.
