Imphal, Jan 13, 2021:The much awaited COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Manipur today .The first batch of Covishield vaccine from Serum Institute India , Pune reached Manipur. In the first batch, 54,000 doses landed at Imphal International Airport.
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh gave a helping hand in carrying the consignment of COVID-19 vaccine at the Bir Tikendrajit International airport in Imphal early Wednesday.
Expressing happiness and sigh of relief, Manipur Chief Minister took to Twitter and tweeted
This day marks a new dawn as we received the first consignment of 54,000 doses Covishield vaccine from SII,Pune.
