Manipur COVID19 Updates Oct 24: Deaths
Imphal, Oct 24 2020: Manipur COVID19 death toll has rose to 138 with 6 more vicitims in the last 24 hours.
- The 6 persons died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
- 3 women from Imphal East district died. They were 79, 72 and 75 years old respectively
- An 82 year old and 53 year old men from Imphal West district also died due to the COVID-19
- Another 46 year old man from Kangpokpi district also died
Manipur COVID19: District Wise New Cases
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 Common Control Room reported that 245 persons including 233 civilians and 12 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The 233 civilians includes 128 males and 105 females.

- The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Manipur has reached 17,022 including 14,316 civilians and 2,706 Central security personnel.
- Recovered cases has reached 12,719 including 10,321 civilians and 2,398 security personnel.
- Number of COVID-19 active cases is 4,165 including 3,861civilians and 304 security personnel.
- The recovery rate has marginally declined to 74.72 % from 74.87 %.
