Bishnupur, Oct 21, 2020: A combined team of Manipur Police and Assam Rifles arrested 2 cadres of the KCP (PWG-Khuman) at Nachou Chingdong, Ward No. 6 along Chothe road in Manipur on Monday.
They identified the two militants as 48-year-old Salam Bhorot Singh (aka Poinu) of Sagolband Sayang Kurao Makhong, Imphal west district and 51-year-old Sapam Mohon Singh (aka Tayai, Iboyaima) of Tentha Khunou, Thoubal district.
The team also recovered one 9mm pistol, one magazine with eight live rounds, two Chinese hand grenades, two detonators and one black Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (MN-1M-0574).
