Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressed the issue of price rise in the Lok Sabha on Monday, 1 August.
“The GDP of the US fell 0.9 percent in the second quarter, following a 1.6 percent decline in the first quarter, marking a start of they themselves call an unofficial recession,” Finance Minister Sitharaman said.
“There is no question of India getting into recession or stagflation,” she added.
