Security forces arrested 2 persons including a Myanmar national in Manipur
Security forces arrested 2 persons including a Myanmar national from Torbung Bazar in Bishnupur district along with arms. The combined team of Bishnupur commando and 31 Assam Rifle of Loktak Battalion arrested two persons along with arms and ammunition. The seized arms and ammunition include five 0.32 MK-II pistols along with 10 magazines and five live rounds.

Manipur Police arrested a NSCN-IM cadre allegedly involved in Khoupum ambush in 2016. The team of Bishnupur district police arrested the NSCN-IM at NTPC Gate, Ningthoukhong under the jurisdiction of Bishnupur district police. The arrested NSCN-IM cadre was allegedly involved in a 2016 ambush at Khoupum which killed one jawan of the Gorkha Rifles.
