Dimapur, Oct 29,2020 : The security forces in an operation with State police apprehended two NSCN-IM cadres from Chumukedima on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
PRO, HQ IGAR (N) in a press release informed that, Security forces launched an operation along with Police representative based on specific input and apprehended the two cadres of NSCN (IM) in Gen A Chumukedima under Dimapur district in Nagaland.
The troops also recovered one 7.65 point 32mm Carbine with magazine, one point 32mm pistol with magazine, 12 rounds of point 32 mm, ten rounds of 12 Bore, one Baofeng Motorola set, one Bushnell Binocular, one Knife, one Gold bar of 166 gm amounting to Rs 8.75 lacs, three mobile phones, one ID card ser no 136 issued by CFMG and Rs 6.32 lacs in cash from the possession of the individuals.
The apprehended persons alongwith recovered items have been handed over to Chumukedima Police Station, for further investigation, it said.
